By Claude Abraham, 192 pages, hardbound with dust jacket, 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". This autobiography is a wonderful story of a Holocaust survivor, who as a child eluded the Nazi storm and who as an adult, returned to his roots to reconcile with his past, further understand his youth and find a sense of direction.
Including photographs and documents, it describes the turmoil of an abandoned young Jewish boy in occupied France and how he avoided the death camps. The story is unlike the vast majority of Holocaust books, as it is a survivor's account of a young orphan evading the occupying German military authorities, rather than a historic look at life and death in Nazi concentration camps.
